James Coulter can’t sell out of J. Crew fast enough
James Coulter, a self-made billionaire and director for clothing retailer J. Crew, has just dumped 2 million shares of stock in ‘da crew.’ Today, he completed the sale of 2 million shares of the company at an average cost of 33.45 — netting a cool $66,900,000.
This might sound like a nice take, but it’s dwarfed by his previous purge last March of 3 million shares at $42.50 a pop. For those of you without calculators, that one comes to $127,500,000 for a grand total of $194,000,000. Score it!
