Due to a disappointing first quarter, American Greetings has announced that it will be canning a few administrators and creative folks at its headquarters. The number is not more than 18, which is nothing compared to its 18,000-person work-force so it’s a safe bet that the fired few had to be pretty damn bad. Either that or management needed a few sacrificial lambs after it was declared one of the “worst stocks in the world” by the Motley Fool.
