Better Business Bureau calls MyGallons.com a liar
The BBB of Southeast Florida has given MyGallons.com a rating of “F” after it discovered that the company had lied in a press release about partnering with the U.S. Bank. When the BBB called the U.S. Bank to investigate, the bank said that MyGallons’ proposal had been rejected. This warning was then added to MyGallons’ reliability report:
“Specifically, while the website proclaims that any gas station in the US that accepts credit cards will accept the My Gallons Card, however the company has informed the Bureau that no contractual agreements to process the card have been made as yet.”

[...] After getting busted last week by the Better Business Bureau for lying about its partnership with U.S. Bank, MyGallons.com has suspended accepting membership fees for its service. The company also gloats on its website that the South Florida BBB removed its rating of “F” and replaced it with “No Rating.” Awesome job, guys. Tags: BBB, Better Business Bureau, MyGallons.com [...]
